CAXTON BELL CONSULTING
About

Principal-led. Specialist-powered.

Sarah Mackie, Principal Consultant at Caxton Bell
Sarah Mackie — Principal Consultant

Caxton Bell Limited was established in 2001. It is led by Sarah Mackie, whose career spans almost four decades across consulting, marketing leadership, business turnaround, corporate learning and publishing.

Sarah sets the direction and remains accountable for every engagement. When a brief calls for additional capability, Caxton Bell assembles the right team from a close network of senior independent specialists — people she has worked alongside for years rather than a panel of suppliers.

That model has held for twenty-five years. It is why clients such as Sky, Northgate, Budget Insurance and Marble Hill Partners have come back with a second and third brief, and why the work tends to sit close to the commercial result rather than beside it.

The team flexes around the work. The accountability stays personal.

A specialism worth naming

Outsourcing and contact centre management.

Ten years managing outsourced relationships from the client side, and eight years inside outsourcers providing account direction, solution design, business process re-engineering, product development and marketing — across thirteen telemarketing, field management and fulfilment providers including Sitel, Merchants, Client Logic, Xansa, Northgate, Astron BPS, Vertex and FDS.

Two of those years were spent with Budget Insurance Services developing FSA-compliant front and back office processes, running the outsourcing tender, compiling the SLA, incentives and contractual requirements, and managing the outsourced programme itself.
